EMERA Móstoles Nursing Home

EMERA Móstoles is the result of a project that has sought to provide the building with a fresh, relaxed, vital and calm aesthetic.
Blue, beige, green, coral and turquoise are the predominant colours in each of the floors and are combined with wood and vegetation that are also integrated into the decoration.
In addition to the selected colours, the large amount of natural light that bathes the building is the driving element of the design. Light provides a complete integration between interior and exterior. The comfort granted by thermal insulation and the transparency of the walls, create a quiet and peaceful space, with views to the gardens and the surroundings.
The project has been developed on some 6,000 m2, consisting of common areas and living units, with a total of 148 rooms (18 doubles and 130 singles), as well as medical and nursing offices, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychology services, laundry area, a kitchen, as well as cleaning and staff areas.
In every floor, first to third, there are 32 single rooms and 6 double rooms, with large windows that flood all of them with light, as well as a central area with a living room and a dining room. On the fourth floor, there is an exclusive Social Club for residents, a restaurant, a terrace and 18 individual rooms.
On the ground floor, the Special Care Unit offers 16 individually adapted rooms. These rooms have been furnished in a more classical way, using both wooden baseboards and custom furniture. Specially selected fabrics, the lighting and the paintings -tactile in this area- complete the set. Everything has been chosen to offer a homely feeling and to help residents identify with the space.
The building also has a reception area, a restaurant and a cafeteria, all connected to the gardens. The building has been designed to please residents as well as visitors.
