EMERA Macarena Nursing Home

Works aimed to provide a new and attractive aesthetic to the EMERA Macarena (Seville) nursing home, while seeking to achieve maximum functionality, both in common areas and bedrooms. The project had to meet healthcare requirements as well as the expectations of the actual users and their families.
Specifically, works have been carried out on almost 7,000 m², comprising the 96 bedrooms of the premises and the common areas, such as the hairdresser’s salon, the cafeteria, the rehabilitation room, occupational-therapy room, and the sensory-stimulation room as well as the chapel.
In all the spaces, the design has been put at the service of the real and specific needs of the elderly.
