REQUENA Y PLAZA has fully designed and executed the interior design of this newly built 4-star establishment with 202 rooms, incorporating the identifying features of this Business & Leisure oriented brand, one of the 30 brands from Marriott International.
The hotel introduces a new concept of a functional establishment that specializes in guests on business trips seeking a higher level of comfort and luxury. Based on these two premises, the studio has articulated a "vintage elegant" interior design style that highlights functionality and timeless comfort.
This hotel is designed for the comfort of guests seeking a layover or a business hub for several days or weeks.
The hotel's spacious and functional rooms, available in a variety of layouts, feature comfortable seating and modern workspaces. Warm tones and natural woods create a sense of intimacy and tranquillity. The bathrooms, with their simple and elegant decoration, are a tranquil oasis featuring tobacco-coloured accents and black details.
The Business Center and lobby spaces are designed as a functional and contemporary setting for business meetings and gatherings, with echoes of the 1920s and 1950s, and adorned with decorative friezes that evoke the “aesthetics of Mondrian”.
The space is designed to boost conversation, with designated areas for meetings, and elegant, comfortable furnishings. The ample seating with high backrests provides extra soundproofing and privacy. The use of wood and rich tobacco, whiskey, and black tones contrasts with the exterior, offering stunning views of the mountains surrounding Barcelona and Viladecans town.
