LETOH LETOH Donostia-San Sebastián

REQUENA Y PLAZA has been commissioned to design and execute the comprehensive renovation of the new LETOH LETOH Donostia-San Sebastián in the El Antiguo district of the Guipuzcoan capital, in a privileged location just 300 meters from the magnificent Ondarreta beach.
In this project, a total area of approximately 2,880 m2 has been refurbished, resulting in a hotel with 61 rooms of different types, some of them with terraces, and distributed over six floors. In addition, the building has two other floors, the basement and the street level, which are dedicated to service areas and public spaces: the reception, "Syra Coffee" cafeteria, "El Almacén Wine Bar" and a multipurpose room, among others.
The Hotel’s daring and innovative aesthetics, seek a contemporary guest with a lifestyle focused on comfort and sophistication in leisure and gastronomic experiences.
The aesthetic line that will accompany the guests during their stay at the hotel is created through the use of blue and ash colours. Using irregular surfaces and organic shapes, provides a deep sense of composure in the rooms that carries away guests to a haven of relaxation within the bustling city. In the common areas, the same neutral colours are combined with wood, stone and black iron profiles that continue the common thread of the entire design. In these areas there is a combination of oak woods and blues with details of terrazzo pavement, carpets and mosaics.
To complete the design, a studied use of natural light and lighting, becomes one more element of the decoration, reinforcing the purpose of generating a unique experience of relaxation: a welcoming and disconnecting experience.
